Transition

“Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes time. Vision with action can change the World.” Joel Barker

The UK and Republic of Ireland  are showing us how to do it: Transition is a movement which started in 2006 and has since spread like wildfire:

In Transition 1.0

Over 300 Initiatives of Transition are running already (2010) around the World and about 1’000 groups are going to start one. Wonderful… it proves that CHANGE towards sustainable lifestyles is realistic. This is an invitation to all Cultural Creatives: Let’s go for TRANSITION, too – now (because the process needs years)!

It’s high time communities (villages, small towns) worked towards their own independence and resilience concerning their supply of food and energy! The current total dependence on the globalised economic infrastructure is simply unsustainable – there is no doubt anymore.

Change is on the horizon… let’s say „back to normal“. To prepare for the upcoming change just makes sense.
